Why the black network?

Life is getting tougher for a lot of people. Financially, the rich are getting richer… and everyone else is getting poorer!
And despite the big push for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Black workers over the last few years, there were still no Black leaders in the top roles in the FTSE 100 in 2023. According to a 2021 report by Green Park, at the current rate of progress, it will take over 200 years for representation of non-white senior leaders to mirror the diversity of our society. So… Roll on 2237?? Definitely not.
Most of us are not prepared to wait that long! Instead, we’re ready to take positive, pro-active steps to create new futures for ourselves and our families.

Our Mission
We believe that socio-economic inequality is a challenge that can be solved. Our mission is to help provide the UK Black community with the tools that will help to eradicate the gap between us and other groups in UK society.
We want to help our communities and our families to realise and exercise their innate power to live in abundance and have the life they really want. Whether it’s by building successful businesses, securing dream jobs, achieving financial freedom, or escaping the urban jungle altogether.
We provide practical tips and advice, relatable stories of success, opportunities to network with like-minded people, a marketplace for members, and practical resources and guidance to help you take the next steps in your journey to economic freedom.
Our Vision
TBN 2045
Our vision is for the UK Black community to exceed national socio-economic outcomes by 2045.
This will mean:
more successful Black owned and run businesses.
more Black representation at senior levels in existing organisations, and at rates in line with our representation in society.
It will mean an average household income which is significantly higher than current levels.
We will achieve this by connecting, learning and knowledge-sharing, creating bold visions, and working towards our goals with confidence and self-belief.
The momentum is already here – we just want to help accelerate it!
